Laser Focus Disc & Co. Ecommerce Page

Created a front-end e-commerce mock-up project inspired by my love for old-school physical media from the late '90s to early 2000s. Built with Vite.js (a react framework), Node.js, and MySQL, the site pays tribute to the golden era of LaserDisc collecting by showcasing rare movie titles in a clean, retro-themed shopping experience. Focused on dynamic product listings, a mock shopping cart system, and a responsive design to capture the nostalgia while delivering a smooth, modern user experience. (Note: The movies page selections may take a few seconds to load as part of the demo setup.)

Highlights:

  • Built with React.js (using Vite.js for faster development and optimization).
  • Tribute project celebrating late '90s to early 2000s physical media culture.
  • Fully responsive design optimized for mobile and desktop.
  • Honest disclaimer about minor loading delay on movies page.
  • Focused on front-end development and user experience design.

MOTION - Ecommerce Website for Film Cameras

Built a fully responsive e-commerce mockup site dedicated to aspiring filmmakers searching for high-quality cameras. Developed using plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript without frameworks to sharpen my core frontend skills. For the first time, I created a simple database using JSON and imported it into the frontend to dynamically generate product listings — simulating a basic product management system. Inspired by my personal passion for cinema and my dream of becoming a filmmaker, this project focused on creating a clean, visually engaging shopping experience that would appeal to creative users. While it's a mockup, the goal was to simulate a realistic shopping flow, product showcases, and strong brand storytelling.

Highlights:

  • Developed using pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (no frameworks).
  • Created and imported a JSON database to dynamically populate products (first project involving frontend dynamic data handling).
  • Focused on creating an aspirational, cinematic design aesthetic.
  • Built dynamic UI interactions with vanilla JavaScript.
  • Project inspired by personal passion for filmmaking and storytelling.

Built with a focus on clean architecture, scalability, and a smooth user experience across devices.

Highlights:

  • Implemented backend logic using JavaScript classes and constructors.
  • Real-time calculation and dynamic UI updates.
  • Fully responsive design for desktop and mobile users.
  • Clean, modular code structure following OOP best practices.
  • Focused on building functional interactivity and financial tracking.
